Ceiling Overhead Patient Lifts
With a track fixed to the ceiling, overhead ceiling track patient lifts are best suited to installations with limited space, as they require less space then floor lifts. Electrically powered and easy-to-use these lifts are "permanently" installed on the ceiling, on a custom path designed for your home. Hudson offers four overhead ceiling lift products with a variety of features and capabilities to suit your needs.

Overhead Portable Patient Lifts
Hudson portable lifts are designed for temporary and portable installations, and don't require a track to be affixed to the ceiling. The lightweight lift unit can also be transferred amongst rail systems when needed – moving from location to location.

Floor Lifts (Hoyer Lift Type)
Perfect for many home-care applications, floor lifts provide transfer and lifting assistance – including through doorways - with units that are conveniently stored. Frequently referred to by the brand name Hoyer Lift, floor lifts are sturdy and safe, and support an array of sling types. Total floor lifts provide complete patient support, while sit-to-stand models allow for fast and easy transfer for patients who have some strength.

Slings for Patient Lifts
All Hudson slings are made of a strong nylon/polyester material, and can be selected according to the patient needs. Total support slings fully carry the full-weight of the patient and require no additional patient effort or caregiver support. Partial support slings require the patient to provide some strength, or for the caregiver to assist with balance, and are suited for applications where total support is not needed, for hygienic usages, or for exercise/rehabilitation. Stretcher slings are used in hospital and advanced medical settings, typically not for home-care applications.
